See if improvement works will affect your journey on Gatwick Express.
To maintain and improve the railway, Network Rail carries out regular planned engineering works between London and Gatwick Airport.
This work usually takes place at weekends, on bank holidays and after 10pm during the week. However, major work may affect services at other times.
We will provide information here as soon as it is available, but delays in industry planning process mean that late notice of alterations can be expected. Please recheck your journey on the day of travel.
Additionally, services may be subject to alteration as part of our amended timetable.

Amended Gatwick Express service until 06:20 on Sunday 24 June

Gatwick Express between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport
Engineering work is taking place between Purley and Three Bridges, closing some lines until 06:20.
The 05:00 and 05:30 London Victoria to Gatwick Airport services will be replaced by buses.
The 05:48 and 06:18 Gatwick Airport to London Victoria services will also be replaced by buses.

These changes are not currently shown in the National Rail Enquiries Journey Planner. It is expected that journey planners will be updated by 20:00 on Friday to show alterations for Saturday and by updated by 20:00 on Saturday to show alterations for Sunday. On affected routes, journeys may be significantly altered and extended compared with the information shown in journey planners if you check before these times.
